CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - A junior at Cabot High School has one less thing to worry about as he moves into the last year of his high school career.
Jared Gilliam took his ACT on March 1 and was notified recently that he scored a perfect 36.
This was actually his third time to take the test. He scored a 30 on his first try and a 35 on his second.
According to the school, Gilliam doesn't have set plans on where he wants to go after high school, but he is looking into MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He wants to major in engineering.
In May, Gilliam plans to take the SAT and hopes to become a National Merit Finalist.
