I-40 improvements will require a lane closure in Lonoke County

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – Improvements to Interstate 40 require a lane closure in Lonoke County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be performing work on a median crossing. The work will require closing the Interstate 40 eastbound inside lane between mile markers 177 and 178, east of Lonoke.

The lane closures will be Monday, April 7th through Thursday, April 10th, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
