CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - A former NFL football star visited Cabot on Wednesday to promote his anti-bullying campaign to the students within the school district.

Keith Davis played for the New York Giants in the 1980s. He spoke on Wednesday with middle school, junior high, and freshmen students about the importance of dreaming big and making good decisions.

He wanted them to understand that words are powerful, just as the ones he heard as a child that changed his life.

"It's written by Dr. Edwin Lewis Cole, and it says, "Winners always look at what they're going to, and losers always look at what they're going through," said Davis.

Davis expressed to the students that bullying stems from someone who is hurt, and then feels the need to hurt someone else. This year, he is traveling across the country to educate people on valuing themselves and others.
