CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) -- Elementary students in the Cabot School District are spreading kindness through a week long anti-bullying initiative. It's called “The Great Kindness Challenge."

The kids are given a 50 item checklist on ways to offer kindness to others including writing a thank you letter to administrators, hugging a friend, or making motivational posters.

"Because our actions affect how other people are and not everybody is kind,” said Calyx Stewart, a 4th grader at Northside Elementary.

The challenge is a nationwide program that started three years ago, and this is the first time for Cabot to participate.
